As a registered first class transport Union, we pride ourselves as a dynamic organization deeply entrenched in the States transportation landscape. With our field headquarters in Tombia, Yenagoa, the State Capital. RTEAN Bayelsa serves as a pivotal hub for coordinating and regulating transportation activities across the state. Since inception in 2001, RTEAN Bayelsa has had one focus: ensuring safe, efficient and fair transportation practices. In RTEAN Bayelsa, the safety of lives and property is a priority. Also, as is the practice in most RTEAN Chapters, our first time transporters must understand that owning your own vehicle is almost compulsory if you wish to register with the union, this gives RTEAN more clarity about the transporter and helps the union curb inappropriate and suspicious practices as may be involved with the system. RTEAN Bayelsa administratively is a law abiding union. We proudly function within the directivs of the state government. The notion of violence is not welcome within the union, issues wether within the union or with the state government are always resolved by dialogue; this has been the modus operandi of the union and it has fostered a good working relationship between the union, the state government and the state executives.
