Chairman's Address
This is the official website of Niger State Branch of Road
Transport Employer's Association of Nigeria (RTEAN). I welcome you
on board the train of RTEAN Niger State. Since 1982,we in Niger
State have provided the Nigerlites with effecient transportation
services to the public, both commercial and private which inturn
have contributed immensely in boosting the state economy and the
nation as a whole.
While we prioritized the safety and life of our people, checking
the drug abuse and theft in our parks and garages, placing comfort
to people. Our operation is duly backed by law. RTEAN in Niger
State for the first time in 42 years is governed and operated in a
refined and well structured Administration constituted during our
service term. We have expanded our transportation services by
creating a subsidiary of RTEAN Tricycle And Motorcycle Riders
(RTEANTAMR) to magnify transportation services in the state.
The criteria for joining our dear association varies,for the
driver's is the ownership of a vehicle while for the
individuals,is the acquisition of membership which includes
registration and purchasing of a membership card and identity
cards. The rationale is that we ensure no
alcoholism,theft,kidnapping and the use of fake RTEAN documents is
curtailed so as not to endanger the lives and properties of
people.
The RTEAN Marshal is created in the state to put that in check.
And this is the more reason why we have enjoyed a very good
relationship with the government ministries involved in transport
sectors, the Niger State Governor and the State Government in
general. We have also relished a mutual relationships with all the
chief executives and their governments, the principal officers of
the association and the State executive Council. We have also not
forgotten our late past leaders and their families. This platform
